This is what most people think of when they talk about birth control. There are a bunch of different brand names but overall they are pills that contain hormones (either estrogen/progesterone or progesterone only) that helps control when eggs are released. The combination of both hormones is a pill you take every day with hormones for 3 weeks and then one week when you take either pills that don’t contain any hormones or no pills and you’ll get a period then.
